Editorial guideline PDF

   Export the Editorial site

   Choose Editorial under Site and press Export site. The PDF is made with it; there is no separate button.

   Linyal prints it

   It opens Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Chromium or Brave on a Mac, or Chrome, Edge or Brave on Windows, out of sight and with a profile of its own, and prints <brand>-guidelines.pdf into the site folder.

   Pro. The Editorial site and its PDF are Pro. Until 31 January 2027, Pro is open to everyone.

Pages are 1920 × 1080 px: Cover, Contents, Brand story, Logo, Clear space & misuse, Colours, Typography, Type scale, Imagery, Pattern, Iconography, Applications and Closing. A page with nothing to show is left out, and Contents numbers what is there.

Without Chrome, Edge or Brave

Linyal leaves the print-ready page in the site folder and says so:

No Chrome, Edge or Brave on this Mac, so the guideline PDF was not made. Install Chrome or Edge and export again, or open onda-guidelines-print.html in the site folder in Safari and save it as PDF on a custom paper size of 508 × 285.75 mm (20 × 11.25 in): on A4 or Letter, Safari cuts off the right of every page.

Studio deck

   Open Deck

   In Present, choose Deck. The Templates screen lists Studio, 12 pages, and each page with what it will show.

   Generate

   Press Generate. Linyal makes a new Illustrator document in your export folder, <brand> presentation.ai, with 12 artboards at 1920 × 1080 pt that you can edit.

   Export PDF

   Press Export PDF on the Present home or the Export screen. Illustrator saves <brand> presentation.pdf; no browser is needed.

Pages: Cover, Mark, Construction, Clear space and minimum size, Lockups, Colour, Contrast, Typography and Closing, with dividers for Mark, Colour and Typography.

Pro. The deck and its PDF are free. The Construction, Clear space and minimum size, and Lockups pages are Pro. Until 31 January 2027, Pro is open to everyone.

Limits

• Until you buy Pro, the closing page of both PDFs says “Made with Linyal · linyal.com”.
• The Studio deck leaves out a page it has nothing for: Construction without a measurement, Clear space without a clear space or minimum sizes, Lockups without a wordmark, Typography without a font.
• The Editorial PDF shows at most 12 icons.
• If the Editorial PDF couldn’t be printed but a Studio deck PDF is in the folder, the site’s Download PDF links the deck instead.
• Printing stops after 60 seconds; export again, or save the print-ready page as PDF from Chrome or Edge.
