Know exactly what you drew.

Inspect looks over the logo you drew and shows what the eye misses at normal zoom: curves that almost match, lines that almost meet, and points that do nothing. What to do about each is up to you.

01 / What it reads

It reads what you drew, and how close you came.

Radii and circles

The radii the mark is built on and which almost match, such as “Two radii differ by 0.14 pt”, how far a circle is out of round, and where a curve almost meets a line.

Redundant anchors

Anchor points stacked on each other, points on a straight run, empty paths. Clean up removes them in one click, and the outline does not move.

Your decisions

Dismiss a finding as Intended and the answer stays with your artwork. Linyal reports what is there; what to do about it is yours.

02 / Construction and clear space · Pro

Show how it was made.

Draw construction puts the circles your curves follow, the axes and the tangents on a locked layer of their own. They come from the mark’s vectors, not from a grid laid over a picture of it. Draw clear space frames it at ×1, ×1.5 or ×2.

03 / Brand check · In present

A final check, before the handover.

Brand Check reads the document against the brand: off-palette colours, off-brand fonts, a logo under its minimum size or distorted, and anything inside its clear space. Free shows the first three findings; Pro shows them all, with Fix and Ignore.
